The DEKA Motus platform is the first high-speed Alexandrite laser that allows light AND dark skin tones to benefit from the effectiveness of the Alexandrite wavelength. In fact, the DEKA Motus AX laser hair removal treatment is fast, painless, and more effective for the widest range of skin types, more than any other laser hair removal treatment.
The technological breakthrough behind the DEKA Motus laser is the proprietary Moveo technology. This technology was developed to overcome the limitations of the traditional Alexandrite laser 755 nm for hair removal while retaining all of its advantages.
Moveo technology (moveo is Italian for move) in the DEKA Motus Laser uses simple, even movements over a small area gradually heating the vital parts of the hair and delivering enough heat to destroy the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding skin.
Because of the relative thermal relaxation time of the skin and the cooled sapphire tip, the DEKA Motus laser hair removal device makes treatments safe and completely comfortable for the patient.
Is DEKA Motus AX treatment right for me?
One of the breakthrough benefits of the DEKA Motus AX is that it is safe and effective for light to dark skin types. Whether you have fine, light hair or a darker skin tone, the DEKA Motus AX can be used to target and permanently remove unwanted hair. The DEKA Motus AX may also be used with tanned skin however, it is always recommended that you talk with your physician about your specific skin conditions before treatment.
What makes DEKA Motus AX different from other lasers for hair removal?
The three main differences between the DEKA Motus AX and other technologies for laser hair removal are:

2) Speed and effectiveness of the treatment

The DEKA Motus AX eliminates the trade–offs that come with other laser hair removal options. For instance, an NdYAG laser can be used across skin types but is less effective. Other technologies are highly effective but treatments are difficult to tolerate.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions required for laser hair reduction depends on the individual. A typical regimen is 8-10 sessions spaced one month apart and then maintenance treatments as needed. Given the efficacy of the DEKA Motus AX, you may need fewer sessions and could go longer before needing a touch–up treatment.
Will my treatment hurt?
One of the major benefits of the DEKA Motus AX, is that the Moveo technology eliminates the discomfort of typical laser hair removal. Most people only feel a warming sensation making the experience a highly comfortable one.
How long will my treatment take?
